Products & Materials

What is PP woven fabric, and what is it used for?
PP (polypropylene) woven fabric is made from flat or fibrillated polypropylene tapes interlaced at right angles to create a strong, durable fabric. It is widely used for manufacturing packaging bags, sacks, tarpaulins, geotextiles, industrial covers, and UV protection applications. Its key advantages are high tensile strength, moisture resistance, light weight, and recyclability.
What products does Hari Kripa Polymers supply?
We supply five core product categories: PP Woven Fabric (laminated and unlaminated), PP Woven Bags & Sacks, BOPP Woven Bags, Small/WPP Bags, and FIBC/Jumbo Bags. All products are available with customization in size, GSM, printing, lamination, and closure type.
What is the difference between laminated and unlaminated PP woven fabric?
Laminated PP woven fabric has an additional polypropylene or BOPP film layer applied to one or both sides, making it moisture-resistant and better suited for materials that need protection from humidity or water. Unlaminated fabric is breathable, lighter, and used for products like agricultural grains and animal feed that benefit from air circulation.
What is a FIBC / Jumbo Bag and when should I use one?
FIBC (Flexible Intermediate Bulk Container) bags, also called Jumbo Bags or Bulk Bags, are large industrial bags typically holding 500kg to 2000kg of material. They are used for transporting and storing bulk powders, granules, and industrial materials such as sand, cement, chemicals, and agricultural products. They reduce packaging costs significantly for large-volume shipments.
What is the difference between BOPP bags and regular PP woven bags?
BOPP (Biaxially Oriented Polypropylene) bags use a BOPP film laminated onto the PP woven substrate, enabling high-definition, photographic-quality multi-color printing with a glossy or matte finish. This makes them ideal for branded consumer packaging in food, FMCG, and retail. Regular PP woven bags use flexo printing (up to 6 colors) and are more suited for industrial and bulk applications where branding is less critical.

Customization

Can I get bags made to a specific size?
Yes. All our products are available in custom sizes. You can specify the exact width, length, and gusset dimensions you need. For fabric, the width range is 30cm–147cm. We recommend sharing your product weight, application, and stacking requirements so we can recommend the ideal dimensions and GSM.
What printing options are available?
We offer two main printing options: Flexo printing (up to 6 colors) for standard PP woven bags and sacks, and BOPP high-definition printing for premium branded packaging with photographic quality. We can also supply plain, unprinted bags. Artwork must be supplied in high-resolution vector format (AI, EPS, or PDF).
What GSM range do you offer?
Our PP woven fabrics and bags are available from 40 GSM to 220 GSM depending on product type and application. For lighter agricultural products, 60–80 GSM is typical. For heavy industrial materials or fertilizers, 90–150 GSM is common. For FIBC jumbo bags, the fabric weight is higher. We can help recommend the right GSM based on your load requirement.
What closure and handle options are available?
We offer a variety of closure options including stitched open mouth, heat-sealed, valve bags, and pinch-bottom closures. Handle options include side handles, top handles, and loop handles depending on the bag type. FIBC bags can be configured with single or double loops and various inlet/outlet spout options.

Ordering & MOQ

What is the minimum order quantity?
Minimum order quantities (MOQ) vary depending on product type, customization level, and destination. For standard products, the typical MOQ starts from one metric ton. For export orders, a full container load (FCL) is recommended for the most competitive pricing. Please contact us to discuss your specific requirements and we will confirm MOQ and pricing accordingly.
What is the typical lead time for orders?
Lead time depends on order size, customization requirements, and current production schedule. For standard products, lead time is typically 7–15 business days. For custom orders with new print artwork, allow 15–25 business days. Export shipments require additional time for documentation and container loading. We will confirm a specific timeline at the time of order confirmation.
How do I place an order?
You can place an order by sending your enquiry through our contact form, emailing us at [email protected], or calling/WhatsApp messaging us directly. Please include product type, specifications (size, GSM, lamination, printing), quantity, and delivery destination. Our team will review your requirements and provide a quotation promptly.
What payment terms do you offer?
Payment terms are discussed and confirmed at the time of order. Common terms include advance payment for new customers and mutually agreed credit terms for repeat orders. For international orders, we typically work with T/T (bank transfer) and LC (Letter of Credit) arrangements. Please discuss your preferred payment method with our team.

Quality & Certifications

What quality checks are carried out on your products?
Our products undergo multiple quality checks at production and pre-dispatch stages. These include raw material inspection, tensile strength testing, GSM verification, dimensional accuracy checking, seam and stitch quality inspection, print color fidelity verification, and pre-shipment inspection before dispatch. We aim to ensure every batch meets the agreed specification before it leaves our facility.
Can you provide samples before I place a bulk order?
Yes. We can arrange product samples for evaluation before bulk order placement. Sample availability and dispatch timelines will be confirmed by our team based on the product type and any customization requirements. For printed samples, a sample charge may apply which is typically adjustable against the final order.
Are your products food-grade safe?
Polypropylene (PP) is inherently food-safe and non-toxic, making it widely used for packaging of food grains, flour, pulses, animal feed, and processed food products. We supply food-grade PP woven bags that comply with standard food-contact material requirements. Please specify food-grade requirements at the time of enquiry so we can confirm the appropriate materials and liner options.

Export & Shipping

Which countries do you export to?
We currently export to four key international regions: the Middle East (UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, Bahrain), Africa (Nigeria, Kenya, Tanzania, Ghana, Ethiopia, and others), Asia-Pacific (Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Malaysia, Indonesia, and others), and Europe (UK, Germany, and EU member states). We are open to exploring new markets — please contact us to discuss your requirements.
What export documentation do you provide?
We provide all standard export documentation including Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading, Certificate of Origin, and GST/GSTIN documentation. If specific certifications or phytosanitary certificates are required for your country's customs, please let us know in advance so we can arrange accordingly.
Do you handle shipping and freight arrangements?
We can supply on Ex-Works (EXW), FOB (Free on Board), or CIF (Cost Insurance Freight) terms depending on your preference. For customers who prefer to manage their own freight, we provide EXW or FOB pricing. We can also coordinate CIF shipments to your destination port with the support of our freight forwarding partners.
What ports do you ship from?
We primarily ship from Nhava Sheva (Jawaharlal Nehru Port, Mumbai), which is the main container port for North India. We can also arrange shipments via other Indian ports depending on logistics and routing requirements. Please confirm your destination port so we can provide the most accurate shipping timeline and freight estimation.

Sustainability

Are PP woven bags recyclable?
Yes. Polypropylene (PP) is a fully recyclable thermoplastic polymer, classified as Resin Identification Code #5. PP woven bags and fabrics can be recycled through established industrial PP recycling streams. This makes them a more environmentally responsible packaging choice compared to multi-material or non-recyclable alternatives, as well as being significantly more durable — reducing the total amount of packaging used per ton of material transported.
How do PP woven bags compare to jute or paper packaging?
PP woven bags offer significant advantages over jute and paper in terms of tensile strength, moisture resistance, load-bearing capacity, shelf life, and cost-efficiency. They are lighter, stronger, and do not absorb moisture, reducing product spoilage during storage and transit. While jute is biodegradable, PP woven bags compensate through recyclability and their ability to be reused multiple times before disposal.
